Stem cells/Fat grafts

The aging process leads to progressive loss of subcutaneous fat giving to the face a tired and aged appearance, deepening of nasolabial folds, depressions, and thin lips with multiple grooves. All these changes dramatically improve with lipotransfer technique or fat grafting, in which fat is obtained through liposuction of available regions (abdomen, thigh, etc.) and after proper processing it is grafted in the recipient areas, distributing it adequately. It is estimated that about 50% of the fat is reabsorbed, but the surviving grafts consist of living cells from adipose tissue, that will give a better appearance to the face that acquires a natural and rejuvenated look, improving skin quality.
